“Leaders Who are Making News by Making a Difference”: Rowan Tree Co-Founders Interviewed on Delegate Ken Plum’s Virginia Report

Rowan Tree Co-Founders Amy and Kate were honored to be invited to speak with Delegate Ken Plum‘s  Virginia Report television show on Reston Comcast Channel 28 (Verizon Channel 1981). In his public service programming show:

Ken interviews state and local leaders who are making news by making a difference. The program is public service oriented, and Delegate Plum has used it as a vehicle to educate the Reston community about the many people and organizations who are doing great work here. Guests through the years have included community leaders, state and local agency heads, board members/chairs, and volunteers.

He spoke with Amy and Kate about Rowan Tree, what we offer our members, and how we impact the community. Our show will be aired on Reston Comcast Channel 28 (Verizon Channel 1981) on Tuesday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. and repeated on Wednesday, June 19 at 10:30 p.m. You can also view the program online at any time.

In his thirty-ninth year of service representing the 36th District in the Virginia House of Delegates, Mr. Plum is a retired teacher and school administrator, having been employed by the Fairfax County Public Schools for nearly 30 years.
